There is a really interesting interview with my good friend and fellow composer Ted Hearne over at InDigestMag.com. It covers a lot of ground, though focuses mostly on Ted's Katrina Ballads and the musical and political issues that relate to it. Of particular interest to me are Ted's thoughts on drum set in classical music, which I hope to write more about here. As always, you can be sure that Ted is going to speak his mind. There's no pussyfooting around.
Check it out here.
Or, to listen to some of the recently re-issued Eno/Fripp record (No Pussyfooting), go here.
Really though, you should probably do both.
